How to Record a Quick To-Do with PopDo
- 1 minutes read - 182 wordsCreating a to-do entry doesn’t have to be a burden. PopDo makes it really easy and quick to do just that. It only takes pressing a shortcut to bring up QuickTask, typing the to-do title and pressing return.
The newly created to-do now lives in the default list. You can add a reminder to the to-do by typing a textual representation of date and time, and assign the to-do item to a particular list by using the #MyList (hashtag) specifier.
Configuring the Shortcut
Both the PopDo main window and the QuickTask window can be summoned with a shortcut. To configure the QuickTask shortcut, open the PopDo main window, click on the main menu icon (the one with the gear, at the bottom of the window), and select Preferences… On the preferences window, select the Tasks tab and then click the Record Shortcut button. Press any key combination that makes sense to you. I prefer to use ctrl+alt+cmd+space to bring up the QuickTask window.
Now any time you need to record a new to-do you are only a shortcut away. Quick and easy!
